Marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel swage less (mechanical) terminal designed to terminate 4mm stainless steel wire rope without a hydraulic swager or specialist press.Ideal for standing rigging, stays, guard wires, lifelines, architectural cable, and on-site or onboard repairs. The fitting uses a cone/wedge assembly inside a tapered body.Under load the wire is gripped securely, typically matching or exceeding the breaking strength of correctly specified 1×19 wire when installed properly. Assembly uses only basic hand tools (spanners); no machine swaging is required.
