The EZ-Steer Universal Auxiliary Steering Kit connects your kicker motor to your boats main steering wheel, giving you full helm control over both engines without ever reaching back to the tiller. Built for dual-engine setups, this kit is the clean, mechanical solution for anglers and cruisers who want to troll, dock, and navigate with both hands on the wheel and an unobstructed view ahead.
This kit is sized for a 3438″ center-to-center distance with a 4″ auxiliary offset a common fit for mid-to-large transom configurations. The self-adjusting stainless steel connecting rod handles minor alignment variation without tools or custom fitting.
Best Use Case: The 3438″ range is a strong fit for mid-to-large aluminum or fibreglass fishing boats typically 1721 ft. rigs running a 1525 HP kicker alongside a 90175 HP main. This spacing is common on wider-transom walleye, muskie, and multi-species boats where the engines are mounted further apart than on a standard bass or utility hull. If a customer is between the 2933″ and 3946″ kits, this is the one to check first.
Fitment Note: Always measure center-to-center between the engine clamp brackets before ordering this is the most common sizing error. If spacing falls between sizes, size up. The self-adjusting rod provides some range, but bracket spacing must be within spec.
