The EZ-Steer Universal Auxiliary Steering Kit gives you full helm control over your kicker motor no more reaching back to the tiller, no more compromised sightlines. Designed for dual-engine setups, this kit mechanically links your auxiliary outboard to your primary steering wheel so you can troll, dock, and cruise with both hands on the wheel and your eyes on the water.
This kit is sized for a 3946″ center-to-center distance with a 4″ auxiliary offset, making it the right choice for wider transom configurations where engines are spaced further apart. The self-adjusting stainless steel connecting rod accommodates minor alignment variation without tools or custom fitting.
Best Use Case: Best suited for wider transom setups typically larger aluminum or fibreglass fishing boats, pontoons, or multi-species rigs where the kicker and main engine are mounted further apart. The 3946″ center-to-center range covers the wider end of the dual-engine spectrum, making this the correct fit when standard 2738″ kits come up short. Common applications include 1822 ft. boats with a 1525 HP kicker alongside a 90200 HP main.
Fitment Note: Measure center-to-center between the engine clamp brackets before ordering this is the most common sizing error. If your spacing falls between sizes, size up. The self-adjusting rod provides some range, but bracket spacing must be within spec.
SKU Correction Note for Staff: This product was previously listed with an incorrect model number (EZUKIT310001). The correct SKU is EZUKIT410005 39-46″ C-C, 4″ offset.
