Lewmar Low Profile Rectangular Hatch Size 20

Sleek, Low-Profile Deck Ventilation for Powerboats and Sailboats

The Lewmar Low Profile Rectangular Hatch Size 20 delivers clean, modern deck ventilation in a compact footprint. At just 1 above deck, it sits flush and unobtrusive ideal for powerboats where aesthetics matter, and equally at home as a ventilation hatch on any deck location of a sailboat. The anodized aluminum frame resists corrosion in saltwater environments, and the curved upper frame profile adds structural strength while maintaining the hatchs signature low-profile look.

The lid opens up to 180 and can be operated from on deck via the outside handle, even when unlocked. A full range of spare parts is available. CE Approved.

Parts Desk Insights

Best Use Case: The Size 20 is a popular mid-range ventilation hatch for powerboats and smaller sailboats large enough to provide meaningful airflow and light, compact enough to fit in tighter deck spaces. Its a common choice for side deck and cabin top installations where a larger hatch would be structurally impractical. Pair with a Lewmar Trim Kit for a finished interior look, and a Lewmar Lock Kit for added security.
