Mastervolt MVG Gel batteries are designed as dependable service batteries for medium and large 12V and 24V electrical systems.The electrolyte is immobilised in a gel, creating a sealed and maintenance-free battery with no routine topping-up required. The MVG range is particularly suitable for intensive cyclic applications involving frequent charging and discharging.Their low self-discharge makes them well suited to boats, campervans and seasonal installations that may remain unused for extended periods. The batteries support high charging currents, allowing them to recharge efficiently when paired with correctly configured charging equipment.For a 24V system, two identical 12V batteries can be connected in series.
