It is not a universal anchor winch switch and will not work with other Minn Kota models or third-party winches without verification. If you are unsure whether your issue is the switch or the winch motor, test by jumping the motor terminals directly if the motor runs, the switch is the fault and this part resolves it. If the motor does not run, the switch is not your problem. When wiring in, protect all connections with heat-shrink and marine-grade sealant given the exposure to water typical of an anchor installation.
