Parts Desk Insights

Best use case: This is the right key when you have larger deck plates 6″, 7″, or 8″ or a mix of sizes across your boat and want one adjustable tool that covers all of them. The 8″ maximum span gives it a meaningful reach advantage over the Sea-Dog Adjustable Bronze Key (6″ max) and makes it the better choice for larger vessels or commercial applications. For lighter-duty or occasional use, see the Universal Deck Plate Key or the Deck Plate Key. For a fixed bronze spanner wrench, see the Groco SW-2531 Bronze Spanner Wrench.
