Parts Desk Insights

Best Use Case: Use as a direct replacement when a PERKO 0540/0541-style water deck-fill cap or its attached retainer/chain is missing, damaged, or no longer seals properly.

Common Issues: Most installation problems come from an O-ring that isnt seated evenly or a retainer/chain that isnt secured to the correct attachment point on the deck-fill body. Before tightening hardware, inspect the sealing surface and confirm the chain attachment area matches the original assembly style.
