When that supply is disconnected, it switches to inverter mode and draws power from the battery to run suitable 230V loads. The BMV-712 measures current entering and leaving the battery so you can follow its estimated state of charge on the display or in Victron Connect.Is this system right for me?The MultiPlus is rated at 500VA, with 430W continuous output at 25C. It is intended for appropriately sized loads, such as small electronics and other low-power appliances. Check an appliances running wattage and starting demand before relying on the inverter. Kettles, electric heaters and other high-power appliances need a larger system.The 120Ah battery is within Victrons published recommended battery-capacity range for the 12/500/20 model. The battery must be securely mounted upright in a suitably ventilated location. The MultiPlus requires suitable DC cabling, overcurrent protection and AC safety devices.
