Rock Tamers Adjustable Mudflap System – Matte Black

The Rock Tamers adjustable mudflap system helps shield a towed boat or trailer from rocks and road debris. The removable assembly mounts over the ball-mount drawbar and uses two 24 in x 24 in mudflaps with stainless steel trim plates. Choose the hub size to match the exposed drawbar shank.

Kit Contents

Includes the selected-size center hub, left and right hub arms, two support rods, two flap clamps, two mudflaps, two Rock Tamers trim plates, assembly hardware, bolt-hole punch, 5 mm Allen wrench, locking STAR PIN wrench and instruction manual. The ball mount/drawbar is sold separately.

Fitment and Installation

Match the hub to the drawbar shank where the system will mount, rather than choosing by the vehicle’s receiver opening alone. At least 1 in of clear space is required on the drawbar. Check bumper and exhaust clearance before installation. Measure flap length with the trailer attached and full tongue weight applied; the manufacturer recommends 3-4 in of ground clearance.

Hot exhaust can damage the flaps. Rear-facing exhaust directed fully onto a flap requires an appropriate exhaust outlet; partial exhaust exposure requires an appropriate heat shield. These accessories are sold separately. Follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions and check components and bolt torque before each use. Remove the system before using a drive-through car wash.
