The Sierra PC51010 is a 3 ft Micro-C extension cable designed to extend or connect devices on an NMEA 2000 network backbone. NMEA 2000 is the marine industry standard data network that allows compatible electronics chartplotters, GPS sensors, depth sounders, engine monitors, VHF radios, and more to share data over a single cable network. This extension cable uses the standard Micro-C connector format and is fully interchangeable with other NMEA 2000 certified products. Gold-plated copper alloy terminals, 18AWG conductors, and an IPX7-rated waterproof connection ensure reliable, low-loss signal transmission in demanding marine environments.
The PC51010 is the most versatile length in the Sierra NMEA 2000 extension range 3 ft covers the majority of standard gaps between T-connectors on a backbone run without excess cable to manage. If 3 ft is too short, the Sierra PC51020 (6 ft) and Sierra PC51030 (12 ft) cover longer runs. For very short gaps, the Sierra PC51000 (2 ft) is available. For connecting individual devices off the backbone rather than extending it, the drop cables Sierra PC51140 (2 ft Drop), Sierra PC51160 (6 ft Drop), and Sierra PC51170 (16 ft Drop) are the correct cable type. To power the network, the Sierra PC51070 Power T Cable is also available. Browse our full NMEA 2000 range in the Switches & Circuit Protection collection.
