Springfield Plug-In 2-3/8″ Fixed Height Locking Post

Springfield Plug-In 2-3/8″ Fixed Height Locking Post

The Springfield Plug-In Fixed Height Locking Post is a purpose-built pedestal post for boaters who want a secure, stable seating position with the convenience of a removable system. Unlike standard fixed posts, this locking post features three indexed locking positions letting you set and hold your preferred rotational orientation rather than free-spinning at anchor or in rough conditions.

Built from anodized aluminum for long-term corrosion resistance, this post is designed to drop into any Springfield Plug-In base and pair with a Locking Trac-Lock swivel for a complete, locked seating station.

Key Features

• Fixed height consistent, stable seating height with no adjustment mechanism to loosen over time
• 3-position locking indexes and locks in three rotational positions for controlled seat orientation
• Anodized aluminum construction corrosion-resistant finish engineered for saltwater and freshwater marine environments
• 2-3/8″ post diameter compatible with the full Springfield Plug-In base and accessory ecosystem
• Plug-In system compatible drops into any Springfield Plug-In base for tool-free installation and removal

Parts Desk Insights

Best use case: This post is the right choice when you want a removable pedestal that stays put once seated particularly useful on fishing boats where you want the seat locked forward, sideways, or aft depending on your fishing position, without the seat rotating freely underway. The fixed height suits installations where your deck-to-seat dimension is already dialled in and you dont need height adjustability. For a compatible base, see the Springfield Plug-In 9″ Round Aluminum Base or the Springfield Plug-In 9″ Round Aluminum Hi-Lo Pedestal Base. To complete the station with a locking swivel, pair with the Springfield Trac-Lock Locking Swivel Plug-In & 2-7/8″ Series. If you need height adjustability instead of a fixed post, consider the Springfield Plug-In Power-Rise Locking Air-Ride Pedestal.

Compatibility note: Requires a Springfield Plug-In base (sold separately). Designed for use with the Locking Trac-Lock swivel not recommended with non-locking swivel variants if positional control is required.
