Boatlife Git Rot Kits

Boatlife Git-Rot is the original cure for dry rot a penetrating, two-part liquid epoxy that saturates and restores original strength to rotted wood. It penetrates deep into the rot, working with the loose, deteriorated fibers to rebuild structural integrity.

Wood must be dry before application. Apply by injecting the epoxy into the wood, where it soaks in through capillary action. The mixture has a half-hour pot life and cures overnight. Once cured, it’s sandable, paintable, and can be drilled and screwed like solid wood.

Git-Rot is compatible with fiberglass resins, epoxies, and most sealants making it ideal for repairing transoms, stringers, and cabin roof rot in both fiberglass and wood boats.
