WOW Air Max 120V Pump 164010

WOW Air Max 120V Pump 164010

Product Description

The WOW 164010 Air Max Pump is a 120-volt AC electric pump designed for inflating and deflating towable tubes, inflatable islands, airbeds, inflatable lounges, inflatable boats and other recreational inflatables. With a 600-litre-per-minute airflow rate and a 2.0 PSI maximum pressure, it fills large-volume inflatables quickly without manual effort. The 12-foot power cord, five universal valve adaptors and long reinforced accordion hose make it practical for dock, deck and poolside use.

Key Features

• Genuine WOW Watersports electric pump
• Manufacturer part number 164010
• 120V AC operation, 400W motor
• Airflow rate: 600 litres per minute
• Maximum inflation pressure: 2.0 PSI
• Inflation and deflation modes
• 12-foot power cord for extended reach
• 5 universal valve adaptors included
• Long reinforced flexible accordion hose design
• Suitable for towable tubes, inflatable islands, airbeds, lounges, inflatable boats and other inflatables

Application Compatibility

The 164010 is designed for high-volume, lower-pressure inflatables, including:

• Towable water tubes
• Inflatable islands and platforms
• Inflatable airbeds and lounges
• Inflatable boats and dinghies
• Other large-volume recreational inflatables

This pump is not intended for high-pressure applications such as inflatable SUPs or kayaks that require 10 PSI or more. Confirm the maximum recommended inflation pressure for the specific inflatable before use and do not exceed it.

How It Compares to the Mega Max (164020)

The Air Max 164010 and the Mega Max 164020 are both 120V AC pumps for large inflatables. The Mega Max offers higher output (680W, 800 L/min, 3.0 PSI) for faster inflation of the largest inflatables, while the Air Max (400W, 600 L/min, 2.0 PSI) is a lighter-duty option suited to standard towables and recreational inflatables.

Fitment Notice

This pump requires a standard 120-volt AC power outlet. It is not suitable for 12-volt DC or battery-powered operation. Confirm that the power outlet circuit can supply the 400W draw before use.

The five included universal valve adaptors cover most common inflatable valve types. Verify adaptor compatibility with the specific inflatable valve before inflating. Do not force an incompatible adaptor onto a valve.

Operating Notes

• Select the inflation or deflation port before connecting to the inflatable valve
• Monitor the inflatable during inflation and stop at or below the manufacturers recommended pressure
• Do not leave the pump unattended during inflation of pressure-sensitive inflatables
• Allow the pump to cool between extended inflation sessions
• Store the cord and hose loosely coiled to avoid kinking

When This Product Needs Replacement

Inspect or replace the pump if:

• The motor runs but produces insufficient airflow
• The power cord or plug is damaged or shows signs of overheating
• The hose is cracked, kinked or no longer seals at the valve
• Valve adaptors are lost or damaged
• The unit trips the circuit breaker repeatedly during normal use
• The motor becomes excessively hot or produces unusual noise or odour

Parts Desk Insight

The Air Max is a solid everyday pump for standard towables and recreational inflatables where the full output of the Mega Max is not required. For the largest commercial-grade inflatables or when fastest possible inflation time matters, step up to the Mega Max 164020. Keep a pressure gauge on hand to avoid over-inflation regardless of which pump you use.
